Our train itinerary from Interlaken to Lugano has us changing trains in Arth-Goldau. We arrive at 11:45 and leave at 11:49, 4 minutes to change. Is this doable?

If you do miss the connection, no worries. Just get on the next train. Unless you have a supersaver ticket, the Swiss train tickets are not train specific.

If you depart Interlaken Ost one hour earlier at 8:04 am, you can get a direct train from Luzern to Lugano and not have to worry about a quick connection.
