We will be in Interlaken for a couple of days in early December. Looking for restaurant recommendations near the Interlaken Ost railway station.

Interlaken is a transit center. It's not a quaint Swiss village. If businesses are open, dining options would be more charming in Lauterbrunen, Wengen , and/ or Murren.

Utilize the city bus to expand your circle from Ost station. The second two recommendations are near the West station
Asllanis Corner - raclette burger
Harder Kulm - Swiss cuisine

The Interlaken Ost area is not terrific for dining options. There are a couple of Asian places along Untere Bönigstrasse across from the hostel, but they have always struck me as unappealing.
It is about a 20 minute pleasant walk — or a quick bus ride — to Interlaken West where there are many options: Lebanese, Thai, Swiss, Indian, Chinese, Pizza. What kind of food do you think you’d like? Fancy or not?

We enjoyed Des Alpes which is on Main Street not far from the Interlaken Ost train station. We sat outside in the summer and had great views of the mountains and paragliders there. We also liked the Taverne Restaurant at Hotel Interlaken which is near the Ost train station as well.
