Interlaken Boat Rental

Hello,

We were thinking of renting a boat to go out and explore Lake Brienz. We are 8 people so we are looking for a larger power boat (either power boat or pontoon boat, etc.)

Would love a day on the water but without having to do a "tour" so to speak.

However, if that is not an option, any recommendations on a tour company that would take the 8 of us out, maybe take us to some nice swimming spots, etc.?

We will be in Interlaken area (camping) for 7 days. Can't wait!!

I've never noticed one. There isn't a great deal of boat traffic on the lake beyond the ships. There are a lot of boat houses and a few sailboats but I never noticed a lot of motorboats.

Bootsverleih (boat rental/hire) is what you would look for.

"Bootsverleih brienzersee" brings up 3 results on Google - I know nothing about them.... good luck

as far as swimming in the Brienzersee, remember that the lake is deep and glacial and glacial water is usually C-O-L-D. There is a small lido near the bridge at Interlaken. Maybe it is a little warmer because it is so shallow there.

You need a boat driver license if you want to rent a boat with more than 8 PS.
