I would like to visit the Victorinox factory at the end of July 2018 in Brunnen. We are driving from Fussen in Germany (247km) and then on to Bern (128km). Any tips or information on accommodation in Brunnen or should I continue to Bern after the tour of the factory? I have enough days available to stay in Brunnen if there is something else to do. I am not a hiker due to limitations.

Brunnen is one of the ship/ferry stops on Lake Lucerne (Vierwaldstättersee). You could take the ship from there south to Flüelen on the beautiful Urnersee finger of the lake, or from Brunnen you could take the ship west to Vitznau, where you connect to a cog-rail train that takes you to the top of Mount Rigi (to Rigi-Kulm) for a spectacular view of lakes and Alpine mountains in the distance. Or you could stay on the ship all the way to Luzern (Lucerne).
Or from Brunnen, instead of going to the lake, you could ride the new funicular from Schlattli up to Stoos:
