The last time I was in Luzern, there was a huge parade on Wednesday, June 15 2022 at about 6:30pm. It was such a great surprise to stumble upon it while walking around. I never was able to find out what it was for.
One thing to be mindful of is the Ukraine peace summit taking place just outside Luzern on June 15 and 16.
I recommend everyone traveling to sign up for the State Department’s Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP).
One of the things they will alert you to is if there protests in the area. I was altered to some COVID protests when I was there in 2021.
