Just in the process of planning for May next year and as it stands now we plan on taking a train from Interlakken Ost to Luzern and spending that day and the next. So only 1=1/2 days there (2 nights} Should I be adding another day?

The itinerary asnit stands now:
Arrive Geneva 11am - train to Montreux. - 2 nights
Golden Pass train to Interlakken!- Grindewald - 3 nights
Grindewald to Luzern 2 or 3 nights?
Luzern to Colmar France
We have been to Lauterbrunnen Valley and Zurich.

Three nights is two days, so I vote for three nights. If it were me, I'd be ready to slow down a bit and enjoy beautiful Lucerne.

We spent 3 nights and found plenty to do, especially with a day trip up Mt. Rigi.
