How long until I get my Swiss Pass?

I leave for Switzerland in nine days. I want to purchase the Swiss Flexi pass. But I am concerned it won’t arrive in time before I leave. I live in the United States. Does anyone have feedback about how long it takes to arrive? Or other ways I could get it?

Thanks!
Brittany

Where do I buy it locally? I fly into Milan and am headed to Lausanne from there.

You cannot buy the pass in Italy. Standard delivery in the USA for $10 through our link is by UPS 2nd-day air and may take 3-5 business days total, or a faster option is also available.

Better yet, take the train from Milan heading to your Swiss destination and get off at the first Swiss train station and buy it there.

I purchased our 8 day pass in the States and printed it immediately. I could always print another one if something happened to the first.

Just by your Italian train ticket to the border, get off and purchase your Swiss Pass.

Consecutive-day versions of the Swiss Travel Pass can be printed at home. But if Brittany actually wants a Flexi version of the pass, as stated, then that has to be printed on special ticket stock and delivered (if not buying in Switzerland).

Can you buy Swiss passes in an Italian station like Domodossola? I know that BLS run trains down to there and their tickets are valid to there, but I had no idea that there was a BLS or SBB ticket window in the FS / Italian State Railways station.

Good point Nigel.
Still could be worth the bus as at 15 EUR, it is almost as much as the Malpensa Express train to Milano Centrale 1 hour in the opposite direction. Then turning around an taking a train another 1 1/2 hours to Domodossola.

Domodossola does not have an SBB ticket window or kiosk. We’ve bought our Swiss train tickets on line, but the Domo ticket window can not sell dog 50% off tickets and advised us to buy from conductor on train.

If you take the regional train from airport, connecting in Busto Arsizio to Domodossola the train fare would be around €13.50. Have bus and train schedules available so maybe you decide upon arrival.

Maybe there is an SBB ticket window in Milan Centrale? Lots of Swiss trains leave from there. Does anyone know?
