Hotels in Wengen Switzerland

What do you consider a good location? Close to the train station and lifts?

I have a reservation at the Belvedere. I have never been there so I have no idea if thats bad or good. :) We will be there October 3rd. Good luck!

Would you consider an apartment? A two bedroom apt. may cost less than a hotel for 4 and you would have a little elbow room and may keep the cost of food down by dining in a time or two. Try www.vrbo.com or simply Google “apartments in Lauterbrunnen” (or Wengen). We like Lauterbrunnen best for its centrality and access to both sides of the valley.

We have stayed at the Alpenrose several times in Wengen. Breakfast is included and there is a dinner option--owner of hotel is a chef. A Coop grocery is a short walk from the hotel. The views from the rooms with balconies ( a must to book this type room) are stunning.

If you use Google Maps - or other good mapping app or webpages - you can see where each of those places is, and where the supermarket and shops are, and their relative positions, one to the other.

That is much easier to see than us trying to describe each connection in words.

We are staying in Murren at Bellevue in superior double room from 9/21-9/25 for total cost of 780.00 CHF with breakfast included, wifi, and access to pool and spa.

I want to stay in Wengen near to station because I have two kids that's why looking hotels which is near to station and food stores etc. How about Hotel and Spa Victoria-Lauberhorn?

Kenny - if you go to booking.com you can look at hotels in a "map" view. The coop grocery store is very near to the station. I already gave you a recommendation for Hotel Baren. Wengen is itself a fairly small town so no matter where you stay it should not be too long of a walk.

As Chris said - you could look at google maps also. You could get directions from each hotel to the station to see how long of a walk it is by choosing the "walk" directions.
