We are going on a Viking river cruise stating in Paris late May. We are looking for suggestions on a nice hotel and/or B&B near the Eiffel Tower... We are concerned about the cost but looking for a nice place. .... Suggestions?

You can also go to booking.com and filter for price, location and amenities. But book directly with the hotel website when possible

I like to stay in the 7th near the Eiffel Tower. The 2 hotels I stay at most frequently are Hotel Muguet and Hotel Relais Bosquet.

We have stayed at Hotel de Londres Eiffel which is close, and I believe they offer a discount for direct booking. You have posted this question in the "Switzerland" forum, so you may receive more responses if you post in "France".
