We are staying in Grindelwald in May and we are trying to pick between two hotels. Would love other opinions on the two hotels. One is Sunstar and the other one is Hotel Central Wolter! Thanks!

Sunstar appears to be in Wengen, unless I'm missing something.
I can't picture Hotel Central Wolter, but the map shows it right by the Bahnhof, and across the street from where the buses queue up. Not exactly the coziest corner of the Berner Oberland, but you'll probably have an amazing view of the north face of the Eiger.

Sunstar is a big Swiss high end chain in the alps. I have not stayed in one. Not in my budget. But I did have dinner in the one in Davos two months ago (someone else was buying). Quite luxurious. The one in Grindelwald should be in the same class. I see it is about 500 ft from the Firstbahn cable car, and a half mile from the train station.
