Hotel recommendations in Wengen

I’m not sure what you mean by good and bad, but I have enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Schönegg in June 2022 and June 2024. I’m sure I’ll stay there again on a future trip. It currently has a superior rating of 9.2 on booking.com.

I’m not sure why you want recommendations for not so good hotels, but we stayed at Braunbär Hotel and Spa last year and liked it very much. I would stay there again.

I think I worded that incorrectly, I meant good reviews and not so good critiques of your hotel experiences...in other words, the good, the bad and the ugly.

I guess the "bad" for Hotel Schönegg could be the breakfast. Not terrible. Not my favorite. Definitely sufficient, but not a huge selection. And a few mornings, the pastries from the bakery arrived after the breakfast start time.

We stayed at Maya Caprice in 2024 and last year. Two minute walk from train station. Astounding views of the valley from the balcony. No bad or ugly just good.

Loved our stay at Hotel Edelweiss! Daniel and his staff were very professional and helpful with recommendations in the area. Breakfast was fresh and extensive; hotel was immaculately clean. The only downside in my mind, would have been the uphill walk to the train station with our luggage. With that in mind, Daniel called a taxi for us on the morning of our departure.
