I am looking for a hotel recommendation in Grindelwald in July. We are a party of 5 so we need something with 3 bedrooms or 2 connecting rooms and a living room. Bergwalt Grindelwald, Glacier and GrindelHomes are already booked. Any other suggestions?

Last summer, I found the hotel we'd booked wouldn't work, as my girlfriend was recovering from a foot injury and the place was at the top of a very steep footpath. Ended up finding a room at a place called Hotel Steinbock, right on the main street, close to plenty of shops and restaurants. Simple, but convenient and clean; they had a vacancy on the spot, so if you're booking two months out they may have what you need. Free parking onsite, breakfast included, bar and restaurant downstairs.

We stayed at Parkhotel Schoenegg last year. Very friendly, family run hotel.
