Trying to decide which hotel near Zurich airport would be most convenient for our last night in Switzerland ( other than the really expensive Radisson Blu). Anything similar to that?

We stayed at Hotel Bristol in city center, just a 10 minute train ride to airport. Listed in RS guidebook. It was a 5 minute walk to train station. Gives you the night to enjoy dinner, strolling, etc in Zurich!

Unless you have some horribly early flight out of ZRH (5:00 am or so) then it's actually much nicer just to stay downtown near the train station. Airport area is rather boring.

What time is your flight? Unless it is very early, it works to stay in downtown Zurich and take the train to the airport in the morning.

The airport is only about a 10 minute ride from Zürich Hbf so you can easily stay in town prior to your flight. You might have a look at Hotel Walhalla as it's only about a five minute walk from the main station.
