Wondering is anyone has a favorite hotel - near old town, lake or Opera house for a 2 night stay - Coming direct from airport but will want to explore area that day
Lived in Geneva/Germany years ago so know the old world charm but still would like to stay in a charming hotel and under $300 USA a night - Senior Female solo so want easy access to sights
Will AC be necessary end May?

I looked at suggestions from the forum and decided on Hotel Adler in the center old town. It's also very convenient to the train station. I can't give it a review as we haven't stayed yet.
Hotel Alexander, Hotel Montanta, Hotel Arlette, Hotel Hirshen, Hotel Schwizerhof and Hotel Townhouse were other suggestions.

thanks - I do have a reservation at Hotel Adler - more than $700 for 2 night - will check others out
