Horse-drawn sleigh rides in Zermatt or Montreux?

I know you can do one in St. Mortiz Engadin or in Mt Rigi i.e.

The photos are so beautiful and romantic....riding them around the snow, lake

Unfortunately, I will not have time since my schedule is tight for those locations that we will be staying in Feb next year so I wonder if they have similar horse drawn sleigh ride available in Montreux or Zermatt as those 2 are the only places we have like half day free? I seem not to find one but I can understand sometimes they can be hidden gems

No sleigh rides here. Montreux is along Lake Geneva and we rarely get snow.

The one location where I've seen horse drawn "sleighs" in Switzerland was Grindelwald. I use quotes, because it was more of a hybrid type vehicle that could run on bother snow or concrete.

Probably not what you had in mind, but of you stay at the Grand Hotel Zermatterhof, they pick you up from the train station in a horse-drawn carriage. Perhaps in the winter they use a similar hybrid vehicle?

I did see a couple of mentions on the Zermatt webpage of sleighrides but no specifics or websites to visit. You might try emailing the Zermatt tourist information center and see what they say - [email protected]

Thanks guys
I have emailed to them as specified and there is no horse sleigh unfortunately....
That leaves an extra day thinking what we should do after arrive at Zermatt @ 12pm.
I saw on the website and there's not much things that interest us nearby other than maybe walking the in village, but that only requires maybe 2 hours anyway...

We are staying 2 nights in Zermatt. Arrive at Zermatt @ 12pm. Then next day, head to 2 excursions Glacier Paradise (morning) and Gornergrat (afternoon).

But if that is the case........I am wondering would you recommend on the day of arrival @ 12pm (in case the weather is good), we should do AT LEAST 1 excursion first and then do the other one the next day? (And that way, we can walk in the village around sunset time after we finish one of the excursion?)

If so, which one is better to do on the first day (i.e. Glacier Paradise or Gornegrat) after arriving Zermatt @ 12pm?
Or otherwise we dunno what how to spend on that day anyway so why not split the excurion one day each.

I would say that yes, if the weather is nice when you arrive, you should do one of those excursions that day if possible. We arrived mid-afternoon and the weather was glorious so we changed our original plan to go up the Gornergrat the next morning and went that same afternoon/evening for viewing the Matterhorn. Best decision ever as the next morning the mountains were shrouded in fog. When in any mountain area don't pass up a chance for good weather expecting the next day to be the same, it likely won't be.
