Can anyone direct me to where I can find detailed info on hiking routes in the Berner Oberland? My husband and I will be staying in Murren (I think) for 6 nights and want to hike in and around the whole Murren-Lauterbrunnen-Wengen-Grimmelwald region. We are experienced hikers. Thanks in advance!
This page is a nice start: https://muerren.swiss/en/summer/see-and-do/hiking/hikes/
This is a great resource, put together by forum member shoe:

Walking in Switzerland's Berner Oberland by forum member Laurel Barton and her husband, Ric.
Laurel's book is great, and the new edition is out now. Amazon has it.
There are two similar names for two very different places - Gimmelwald is the miniature community on the edge of a cliff a short walk down from Mürren - very small - and Grindelwald is a large village with buses and cars and lots of hotels and restaurants at the foot of the Eiger. Both worthy, both very different.
Since you wrote "Grimmelwald" after Wengen, and since you can get to Grindelwald over the top and down to Grindelwald I'd assume that that is what you meant?
Do the hike from Gimmelwald (or Stechelberg) to Berghotel Obersteinberg and spend the night. We did it last summer and it is a fabulous place. Great views and great food.
