Hiking tours in Alps or Dolomites

I love the authentic feel of RS tours. I would like to take a hiking tour in 2021 of either the Alps or the Dolomites with the same feel. I don't want to sleep in bunk beds in a dormitory (hut-to-hut), nor do I want 5-star accommodations. A challenging hike led by knowledgeable guides during the day and a nice glass of wine, good food, and a comfortable, clean bed in a double room would be wonderful. I would value recommendations for a hiking tour company with guides, and feel of the quality of RS.

Stephen is a RS guide in Ireland. He also owns a small hotel in Dingle, as well as in Lauterbrunnen. He does tours in Ireland and is putting together Switzerland tours as well. I don’t see where he is listing his Switzerland tours but this is his website. Maybe you could contact him for those.

I know someone who had a good experience with Sherpa International in the French Alps.

When we hiked the West Highland Way in Scotland 2 years ago, we encountered many hikers who used Macs Adventures to plan their trip. Looks like they offer routes in the Alps. https://www.macsadventure.com/walking-holiday/inspiration/alpine-treks/

We have enjoyed doing self-guided walks where the company books places to stay and provides luggage transport. We used Contours, but they only offer hikes in the UK.

Alpenwild may meet your description from some of their tour experience videos I’ve watched. They have both guided and arrangements for self guided. I do not have personal experience with this company, but their tours sound enticing https://www.alpenwild.com/
