We are flying to Zurich and then going straight to Wengen the first week of September. We will not check any bags. I am so much more comfortable with hiking poles when in the mountains. I understand I can’t “legally” take mine in my carry on, and I won’t risk losing my expensive poles at TSA.
That being said, does anyone know if or where I can rent poles in Lauterbrunnen? We’ll be connecting there on our way to Wengen and then will go back through there a week later on our way to Chur before we take the Bernina Express.
(I think I have that right lol)

I would contact Alpiasport to reserve poles. We did so for peace of mind. I believe 10CHF per day per pair.

or ask your hotel or landlord, they will know
