Hi. Hoping to go in June and travel from Zurich to Zermatt in June. Spend 3 days in Zermatt and then do Glacier Express and Bernina Express. Thinking of staying overnight between Glacier Express and next day take Bernina Express to Tirano.
What is best way to go the Glacier Express and Bernini. Should we get out at Chur and overnight there and get Bernia Express there ? Or continue on to Another town. I also saw a post that there is track work starting June 15 on the Bernina express...can someone help me figure out if that would affect our trip.
Trying to plan this thru a brain fog and post eye surgery which is Making this harder. I appreciate the help.

I do not see any disruptions on the Bernina Express route in June, however what is your plan after Tirano? There appears to be track work on the rail line between Tirano and Milan beginning mid-June. There will be rail replacement buses for portions of the route.
You could take the Glacier Express to Chur or St Moritz and get the Bernina Express the following morning, as you prefer. I'd probably opt for Chur, but that is just me.

I'd break the trip in a Filisur or Pontresina. In Filisur have a walk over to the viewpoint over the Landwasser viaduct.

We did a similar trip in reverse, starting in Varenna, then from Tirano catching the Bernina Express to St. Moritz. We spent two nights in St. Moritz, and used the opportunity to visit a couple of mountains and a village or two, courtesy of the free travel pass that hotels there give you.
We then caught the Glacier Express onto Zermatt, where we stayed for three nights.
If you are going in June, you will want to get your seat reservations asap.
