This is such a lovely area and many people on the forums have favorites. I think you will get quite a few responses.

We stayed in Murren and were quite happy that we did. We stayed at the Hotel Jungfrau and were quite pleased. We had balcony room with a view of the mountains that was amazing. Here is the link to their website.

I would look at a Berner Oberland/Jungfrau region map with the train/cable car routes and decide where you think you'd like to spend time. I stayed in the Lauterbrunnen Valley which gave me the option of easy travel to Murren, Gimmewald, Wengen and Kleine Scheidegg. I found Murren and Gimmelwald more charming and picturesque than Grindelwald (which is pretty nice, anyway) The Lauterbrunnen Valley is quite beautiful and has several large waterfalls. If you will visit a lot of these little communities you may want to look at purchasing the Swiss Travel Pass, otherwise, every gondola ride (which is mostly how you get from place to place) will cost you money. I've also heard that with the Swiss Travel Pass the trip to Schilthorn is now included. Schilthorn is nice, especially for those that are fans of James Bond. The bus that runs from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg is free. (Stechelberg is where you pick up the gondola to Murren) You said you are going to Luzern, just so you know, the Swiss Travel Pass includes the boat ride and the cog train up to Mount Rigi. There are Coop grocery stores in Grindelwald, Lauterbrunnen and Murren. I highly recommend purchasing beverages, chocolate and picnic supplies at Coop.
