Question Should I follow Ricks itinerary or can you suggest some. We are not hikers but are open to easy hiking.

Unfamiliar with Rick's itinerary. He does a "Best of Switzerland" in 12-days.

I did the Berner Oberland and Cinque Terre "hikes" that RS recommend but they were a trail than hike. I am in my 30s and go to the gym if that matters. I did sweat but didn't feel they were strenuous. I highly recommend following the trails in the orientation RS says in his guidebooks, they are MUCH easier on your joints. I saw a lot of poor souls coming the opposite way struggling especially up the steps in Cinque Terre.
