Help - Train schedule change

Hello, we are flying into Zurich Saturday and then getting on a train to Munich. We had a direct train, but now there is construction and we need to change trains. We purchased. saver tickets. The train numbers have changed. Does anyone know if my current ticket for the original train is still valid or do I need to get a new ticket somewhere. We only have 1 hour from landing to the train departing. I know it sounds stupid to fly into Zurich and then train immediately to Munich, but that is a long story.

Thank you.

I wouldn't call your flight plans stupid. I'm more alarmed that you bought a train ticket for a departure time 1 hour after your landing. If you're coming from the USA to Zurich then I can say without a doubt you will not make that train. Even if you're not coming from the USA I highly doubt you'll be able to make that train. You'll also need to visit the ticket window to straighten out your current ticket problems.

What time is the train from Zurich Hbf? What was the original train number, ECxxx?

Actually, you do stand a chance as long as that 1 hour is to the connecting train from Zurich airport. Better if you just have carry on bags.

I have had similar experience I am assuming the service is operated by DB and you got an email notifying you of the construction.
Your ticket should still be good.

Original train was EC193. We actually have 1:15 to get from plane to train. We have flown into Zurich numerous times and have never had issues getting to the train in an hour. Thanks.

I actually never got an email. It was through SBB and I just checked the status and saw that there was construction.

We are getting the train at the airport and not Hb.

For this Saturday, I see you taking a 1:21 train to Winterthur, then changing to EC 31195 to Munich.

Update to this. We got from the plane through immigration and got our bags in 40 minutes. We got on the first train to Winterthur and then easily got our train to Munich. SBB responded to email that our ticket was valid even if we missed trains and she sent me a confirmation email to show the conductor if needed. It all worked out. 1 hour is definitely enough time time to get to a train in Zurich. Thanks for the help.
