Help on which rail pass

Hello-

We will be 3 adults, 1 youth and 2 children travelling in end of July in Switzerland. Here are trains I know we will take over the 7 days we are there, just not sure which pass to get. Have looked at Half Fare, Free Family Pass, Swiss Rail Pass and Jungfrau Pass. My head is swimming. Any tips would be helpful. Priorities are cost, followed closely by flexibility I have read some of the other forum posts.

Zurich airport to Zurich? to Lucerne

Lucerne to Interlaken on Golden Rail Train

Interlaken to Wengen

Wengen to Jungfrau

Wengen to other local towns/hikes

Wengen to Zurich

Zurich to Airport

We will be coming from Genoa area before this and looking at flying into Zurich. Other ideas welcome.

My suggestion would be to travel from Genoa to either Luzern or Wengen by train. Flying to Zurich is a detour (and there are no direct Genoa - ZRH flights AFAIK) and will be more expensive without being faster.

See www.sbb.ch for times and prices. Then for Switzerland get the Half Fare Card (and the free Familh Card that comes with it).

Note that in Switzerland the principle is: one trip, one ticket. You do not need separate tickets for each train. Eg. you buy a ticket Wengen - Zurich Airport, and the SBB website will show you the schedule.
