half fare pass or swiss pass for 7 days

My husband and I will arrive in Zurich may 11 leave may 18 from florida.
Will travel from airport to luzetrne stay at air bnb for 2 days see Mt Titilis (snow)
then travel to surrounding commujnities , villages to see sights problably engelberg wengen and grimelwald
any suggestions fro traveling by train, boat woould be greatly appreciated

what is cost is US Dollar
we also would like suggestions for air BnBs for 2 day stays
we need to stay in zurich last night before returning to Florida

You really have to do the math. The ticket prices can be researched at www.sbb.ch/en. Remember that the price shown initially will be assuming you have a Half Fare card, so you double that for the price if you don't have one.

But my gut (I have run the numbers dozens of times) says the Half Fare card saves you the most money. An 8-day Swiss Travel Pass costs 398 CHF per person. It takes a lot of travel to crack that nut. Sounds like you will be making short day trips. Still, do the numbers.
