Hi, I am travelling in May end to switzerland. How is Gstaad during this time? Worth visiting or not?

What is it that you hope to do there? It is a great area for hiking, the town itself is okay, but not amazing. I really like nearby Schönreid, you might find it to be less expensive. There is a beautiful walk from Schönreid to Gstaad and in fact it is on this route that a lot of promotion photos for the Golden Pass train are taken.
