I know that the train station in Grindelwald has a small bank of self-service lockers, but has anyone who's been there recently noticed if these are the newer, credit-card-accepting lockers or if they're still the older coins-only style? Thanks very much!

I have not been to Grindelwald station lately, but the SBB site says there are 20 lockers with internal dimensions of 24.8 x 42.0 x 75.0 cm costing 5 CHF and use coins.

If it makes sense for you, alternatively you have a manned luggage counter at Interlaken Ost, open 7.00a-6.30p daily.
But I find that change is easy to come by in Switzerland.
