Grindelwald Hikes

Next July, we will be spending three nights in the Berner Oberland.

One day we plan to spend the morning at First (Grindelwald) enjoying the zip lines, etc. [I decided to do the activities at First in the morning as I understand the wait times can get extended do to the large crowds by mid-day.

Then we thought we would do a hike in the afternoon. We're considering a round trip to Lake Bachalpsee from First or going over to Wengen and doing the one way hike Mannlichen to Kleine-Scheidegg.

For those who may have experience with both hikes, I'd appreciate your thoughts on which would be a more enjoyable way to spend the afternoon.

Thanks for your help.

I recently did the hike from Mannlichen to Kleine Scheidegg back in September. Very clear beautiful and sunny day! Perfection in other words. It was a moderate hike by the standards of Laurel who posts here regularly. I have her book detailing the hikes in the BO. We had a marvelous day.
The book is:
Walking in Switzerland’s Berner Oberland: Easy Hikes in the Jungfrau Region by Laurel L. Barton.
