Planning on taking the GoldenPass Express from Montreux to Interlaken on 9/14/26
Assume the Point to Point 2nd Class upgrade for $20 each gives us a reserved seat on the GoldenPass Express Pass Express from Montreux to Interlaken OST in the SBB app?
How do I select our seats? Want to sit on the left side?

It really doesn’t matter what side you sit on as the views change from side to side throughout the journey. In general, to me, the value of that train is not having to make any train changes, but the views aren’t over the top spectacular. Train rides in the mountains once you’re in the Interlaken area will be more wow than the GPE. The GPE is nice, just not epic so I wouldn’t stress about which side you’re sitting on.
