I wonder how early I should reserve a seat for GoldenPass train from Lucerne to Interlake and from Interlake to Montreux. Thanks.

Thank you, Tim. I will do that once we have bought the Swiss Pass. Once we arrive Zurich, I will reserve the seats right away.

Travel on the non-fancy, but extremely pleasant normal trains on the line, same stope, same speed, same view, doesn't fill up, no reservations, go when you wish.

But when choosing normal trains, be sure to still choose the scenic route, via Zweisimmen, not the faster connections via Bern.
