Glacier express and iter scenic trains

Hello all travelers,
My family and I would like to take the glacier express while vacationing in Switzerland this summer. Can someone tell how to make a seat reservation on the train if we were using our swiss passes? Would I still have to pay the supplement fee in advance? Any further information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you all in advance.
