We'll be in the gimmewald and zermatt area June 12-16. We'd like to know what to expect for temperatures/weather. Also, are the wild flowers blooming yet? We hope to hike and bike if the weather permits.

Mountain weather is unpredictable. You might encounter rain, probably no snow, chilly to warm temps. Just plan on dressing in layers. Yes, the wildflowers will most definitely be blooming while you are there.

The Swiss mountain areas have a number of web cams active online, but more importantly, you can view weather cams at the lift stations before heading toward the top of a mountain.
