Gimewald

I will arrive by car. Can I drive up to Gimewald or will I need to stay in Interlacken and take the gondolas or cog train up the hill ?

You can not drive to Gimmelwald. If you arrive by car, you'll have to park either in Stechelberg or Lauterbrunnen. Stechelberg is probably slightly easier as it's only one short ride on the cable car from there to Gimmelwald.
