Well the most direct train route would get you there in about 4 hours, but if you have the time and are in for a 9/10 hour ride then I would suggest you take the Bernina Express . So that would be Milan to Tirano, then on the Bernina Express to Chur and then on by local train. You can look up the train details on www.sbb.ch
