Getting to Basel, Switzerland train station.

I'll be arriving Basel, UniWorld river cruise port. How can I get to train station to board a direct train to Zurich? UBER? Taxi? Walking is not an option for me. Changing trains, with luggage, would be difficult too. Age and health issues have slowed me down,

Just take a taxi. You want to go to Basel SBB station. There are several cruise ship docks in the city and it is difficult to say exactly where you will dock as the port director will instruct the ship where to go. There are 5 direct trains to Zurich HB every hour. The one at 37 past the hour also continues on to Zurich airport.

When we did our Uniworld cruise in 2018 they offered a free transfer to either the airport or train station. We were going to the train station so they just called us a cab and gave the cab driver some sort of voucher.
