Best choice getting from Zurich to Luzerne?

It's about an hour by train from Zurich HBF, many trains every day. About 1.25 hours from the Zurich airport (Flughafen) rail station inside the airport.

Define "best"--fastest, cheapest, easiest?
I've done the train a couple of times from Zurich Airport to Lucerne and it was easy.
But the "best" would probably a private car door to door.
