Geneva to Annecy Bus Timing

Hi Friends
We are arriving at 10:45 AM to Geneva and want to get to Annecy. A couple of questions:

  1. I'm considering the BlaBlaCar Bus. Good idea?
  2. How much time should I allow to get through customs? I'm thinking Switzerland means efficient ;-) Could I get the 12:00 Noon bus? Or should I wait until 1:25?

People here often ask how long you need to get through immigration etc... because they operate under the assumption that you need to arrange onward transportation in advance.

This is however not the case here.

Annecy is served by both a regular train service from the airport (via Geneva main station), and a somewhat less frequent public bus service. You will find schedules and prices for both on www.sbb.ch.
Neither need to be booked in advance, so there is no need to worry to much about how long it will take for you to egress out of the airport.
