We will be traveling from Interlachen to Geneva on our last day. We plan to stop in Montreux for a few hours and then on to our hotel in Geneva. Our flight leaves early on the 31st. We may stop at other places too time permitting. We will take the Golden Pass train to see the sights along the way.
Is there a hotel someone can recommend in Geneva for an early flight.

Also near the Airport is the Movenpick and the Crowne Plaza, if you want some higher end picks. Just across the French border, the prices tend to drop at places like the NH. These are basically places you will sleep before departing the next day.
If you are arriving by train, there are some choices near the main train station, if you intend to visit Geneva a bit. The short train from the airport from downtown is quick and starts at 5am, and super frequent after 7.

It's a 9 minute train ride from Geneva Cornavin Station to Geneva Airport. So either stay close to the station or close to the airport. The Movenpick is indeed about as close to the airport as you can get.
sorry for the delay in responding to the followup question... you can walk or take a free shuttle to the airport from the Movenpick. However, the hotel is at the opposite end from the train station. Even closer is the tram stop, which will take you right downtown. You get a free pass when you sign in. Or, as advised above, if you intend to spend a lot of time downtown, just stay closer to the train station.
