Hello, we have really enjoyed reading these posts for ideas for our July itinerary.
We are seeking most affordable means of public transportation from a Geneva area campground to Geneva airport for a
10:00 a. m. return flight to USA.
All suggestions appreciated.

Well...how are you getting from your car rental return to the campground? And which campground is it?

Campground is on Swiss side, but I do not have name. Any campground will work though for that final night. I have not conceived plan for car return in city to a campground.

Why don't you hang on to the car, break camp early and turn the car in at the airport? Otherwise, you will have to pick a place and tell us as where it is. That place may or may not have bus service nearby. I see one on the lake at Pointe a la Bise that is walking distance to a bus stop.

There's a really decent Holiday Inn Express right at the airport. They even have a shuttle bus. I would drop the car at the airport or train station, checkin at the HI Express and then use their shuttle the next morning.
