Does anyone have feedback on staying in Frutigen? Would you recommend staying here for four nights or is there a different location that you would recommend? We are also looking at Grindelwald and Wengen.

Frutigen is in a nice valley, where you can can get to Kandersteg reasonably quickly, with completely different views than your Grindelwald or Wengen options.
That said, I've been past Frutigen a number of times but never stayed there.
You will be very close to the international Girl Scout "Our Chalet".
