From Lucerne to Lugano by boat and train with saver day pass.

Dear All

We bought 2 Swiss saver day passes which we want to use from Lucerne to Lugano by using boat and train in May '25. Our initial plan was to take morning boat from Lucerne, go to Flulen using the boat and take the train from there to Lugano. As Mt. Rigi is on our way, thinking to get off the boat at Vitznau, visit Mt. Rigi and later take the boat to Flulen for Lugano.
Now, we have the following questions:

  1. Is it doable?
  2. As we have our luggage, any locker or storage at Vitznau to leave our stuff before visiting Mt. Rigi ?

If I want to do a trip to Mt. Rigi from Lucerne, how fast I can do it by using train only without taking the boat to Vitznau?

  1. No, that’s not a realistic plan, especially with luggage. Either do a day at Rigi or your Fluelen/Lugano plan, not both.
