Hello! I am trying to connect the dots re: how I am going to go from Geneva to Murren in May.
From what I can tell, I can get a train from Geneva to Montreaux, from there take the Golden Pass to Interlaken, then another train to Lauterbrunnen, and from there a cable car to Grutschalp and then another cable car to Murren, is this correct? Any shortcuts? Also, can I book the trains/ cable in situ, or am I better off booking from hom? Tips are welcome! Thanks!
Its not the fastest route, but taking the Golden Pass route certainly is scenic. From Grutschalp, it is actually a train, the BLM, to Muerren, only about 15 minutes if that.
The fast route is Geneva to Bern via Lausanne and Fribourg, then change to a train to Interlaken Ost, then change to Lauterbrunnen etc.
