Hello,
My family of four adults arrive next Sunday early morning in Zurich. We are staying in Luzern two nights before continuing on to Murren. My question is if it's advisable to visit Fortress Furigen and Mount Pilatus on the arrival day or is this too much after the flight over? My husband and son are WWII buffs and they really want to see it. I believe it is only open on weekends so the arrival day would be the only opportunity. What would be the best route of travel? Thank you

Go for Mt Pilatus when you confirm that it is not raining or foggy zero visibility up there and if you feel like going.
