For anyone that has done the Best of Switzerland in 12 days tour

I've done 12 RS tours, including Switzerland last year. The answer is that it will vary depending on what's on the schedule for the day. I'd say the general average is about 8:30, but I wouldn't count on that.

This is a fantastic tour!
I'm not a morning person, and I thought the start times were reasonable. Plus, on our 2017 RS tour, we had a "vacation" day, and then also an 11am start time in Lausanne. Funny, because I assumed my fellow tour members would be up and out exploring early that day, and that I was the only one sleeping in. I went down to breakfast at the last minute possible, and surprise- 80% of the tour group was also there, also having slept in.
Note- The group dinners on the Swiss trip were not long, drawn-out affairs, and that helped me immensely, as I don't like turning in from dinner at 10:00pm.

Obviously, things may have changed since our trip.

Enjoy this beautiful country. We have returned twice on our own since that adventure, and plan to return again. Safe travels!
