Flying to US out of Zurich 11:45am flight.
Just wanted to ask if it is easy to travel to Zurich Airport from Luzern Train station vs somehere near Zurich Hb
Trying to decide where to book hotel for 1 night.

It's very easy to get to Zurich airport from Lucerne, or Bern, or a number of towns. I would suggest charming Luzern. The train goes directly into the Zurich airport, and is 1+ hour from Lucerne. We like the Hotel des Alpes, ask for a room with a Chapel Bridge view and a balcony. Book directly for the best price.

i do the same as pat. I end my trip in Luzern, at the hotel des alpes, and take the train right to the airport.

I’m traveling to Luzern in October to stay for a couple of nights before taking a direct train to Zurich Airport for an international flight. I stayed in Bern years ago before doing the same thing. It is very easy to do.
