My partner and I will be flying out of Zurich on November 19th and have never been to Switzerland before so we're looking for ideas. It seems like this time of year is too late for summer activities, but too early for winter activities. Information on Zurich (or any of the cities) is surprisingly difficult to come by so it seems like people don't really visit Switzerland for city life. Would it be worth staying in Lauterbrunnen or any of the other mountain towns this time of year or are most places going to be closed? Maybe we should just spend more time in southwestern Germany? Any suggestions would be appreciated.
