Hi - new to the RS Travel Forums and now planning to take our very first trip to Switzerland. I've learned a bit from various forums here and there, but have seen relatively fewer accounts from folks who might have visited the various stops on the Guided/My Way Tour(s) of places on the itinerary such as Lucerne, Appenzel, Lugano, Lausanne, Mürren, and Bern. I thought I might ask folks to share their top (1 or 2) tips/things learned about their own recent experiences with these destinations. I know this is a broad ask, but eager to learn anything that might be of interest to a first-time traveler with RS Tours and/or to Switzerland. Many thanks in advance!

Use “search” Uber Switzerland and RS tours. There are several postings comparing /contrasting the two tours. Also, there is a great “scrapbook” on the Best of Switzerland Tour from 2019.
Check out the reviews below the itinerary on both tours. RS guidebook great place to start and review some others. We decided on the Best of Switzerland Tour with add in days at both ends. Our tour starts 9/13, let me know if you have any specific questions I might be able to answer after the tour.

Thanks, Jill! Looks like we may be traveling in the same time frame, as our guided tour begins Sep. 17 in Luzerne. Will use that search tip to gather more intel. Safe travels to you on your own voyage!
