I have seen a few videos of this zip line from First to Bort and it also looks like there is a Trotti bike (mountain bike?) ride you can take from Bort to Grindelwald. The zip looks like its only ~1 minute long but breathtaking views (if I could open my eyes!). Not sure how long the bikes take to go downhill and wondering if easy for an "mildly active 50 year old" to do? I'm sure our teenagers would love both these adventures - has anyone done them - any reviews? Also wondering if any discounts with a Jungfrau pass? Thanks
Skatie, a "Trotti bike" is what is called a "scooter" in the UK. A thing you stand on. Photo here: http://www.engelberg.ch/fileadmin/_processed_/csm_trotti_bike_fd16d17a97.jpg

Except in the ones in the UK are only for children, and are not to be confused with motor scooters (Vespas etc).
Adult scooters are quite common in Switzerland. Many mountain cable car companies hire them out. You go up in the cable car, and take the Trotti bike down. As it is downhill all the way, you just stand on it, apply the brakes as necessary and try to enjoy the view.
