We'll be heading to Montreux and we don't want to carry our luggage with us for the day. After leaving Lauterbrunnen we'll take the train to Interlaken West, because they have same day delivery of the luggage (Lauterbrunnen is an overnight).
We arrive in Interlaken West on Platform 1. Can someone tell me where we go from there to find the Express Luggage location to drop off our suitcases?
Cindy, if you are coming from Lauterbrunnen you arrive at Interlaken Ost. This is where the 3 lines into Interlaken all meet, and you change trains here. If you are continuing to Montreux your train will Leave from Interlaken Ost and then go via Interlaken West.
According to www.sbb.ch Interlaken Ost has luggage office open 7 days a week, 07:00 – 18:30.

Interlaken West is 09:00 – 12:00 and 13:30 – 18:00, i.e. closed for lunch. I can't find a station map (it is a smaller station), but neither station is that large and it should be well signposted as "Gepäck" (=luggage).
Thanks Chris. I realize that we have to transfer from Interlaken Ost to Interlaken West. The difference is timing. We have to have our luggage at Interlaken Ost by 9:00 to get the same day delivery. At Interlaken West we have until 9:30, and that extra half hour will give us time to have breakfast at our hotel in Lauterbrunnen before we begin our long day.
Very helpful to know that we look for the "Gepack" sign once we get there, thank you! And perhaps with it being a smaller station, the Express Baggage location will be that much easier to find. :)
