Finding best route from A to B in the berner oberland

Really weird, was trying to find out how to get from Wengen to Brienz on google maps and everytime I search it starts from Kleine Scheidegg (not wengen). When i look on the map, there is a far distance between wengen and Kleine Scheidegg which I have no idea how to get to and google just assumes I know as it doesn't give me any directions lol.

https://maps.app.goo.gl/oekujLmHLHxN5dSQ9

And its 1 hour and 40 mins journey. I was off the impression it was less than that.

When i search on sbb.ch, i can see wengen as a stop. Is sbb the one to follow, its says:

Wengen -> Lauterbrunnen (CC53)
Lauterbrunnen -> Interlaken Ost (R62)
Interlaken Ost -> Breinz (Interlaken express train)

Is google maps not accurate for transport in BO to find out how to get around? Is there a better app?

Do not use Google Maps to route trains or cable cars in Switzerland. SBB is the official website/app for the transportation system and the only reliable source.

It takes around 1 hour 8 minutes to get from Wengen to Brienz. You do not go through Kleine Scheidegg.
Train Wengen > Lauterbrunnen (CC53)
Train Lauterbrunnen > Interlaken Ost (R62)
Train Interlaken Ost > Breinz (Interlaken express train)

Use this site in Switzerland: www.sbb.ch/en
That not only includes trains, but also boats, post buses, mountain lifts, local transport like buses and trams.
