We dock with Viking on April 15 in the early morning hours. We have a flight from Basel Airport to Genoa at 9:45 a.m. and need help figuring out the fastest way to get to the airport without breaking the bank. Any suggestions? Sites where to look for a taxi? The train or bus would be too slow.

Before the river cruise ends your departure info should be collected on board. If you need a taxi, Viking can likely arrange one for you.

What CJean said. We disembarked Viking in Basel, and they had a line of taxis waiting for passengers by name, at the dock ready to go. It was early so they know what to do. They dont always use the same dock, so you wouldn't necessarily know that in advance anyway. It's all very organized.
